This post which, even to some of the unassuming simpletons I know, is an exercise in satire and sarcasm and general leg-pulling, has seen some of the vilest commenting and flame-baiting I’ve seen on any blog. I’ve no choice but to close comments, and hope the stench slowly disappears over time.

The level of idiocy displayed in the comments is stunning.
I would say it’s even a tad below the kind of comments seen on the Fake IPL blog, which is saying something.

OMG!! Ridiculous. Even someone with the meanest intelligence (ME!!) would easily understand the tone in which that particular post was written and that you had no ideas of actually going around acquiring land and naming it after you (or did you?? :P:P)
But seriously Totally totally idiotic. 2 and half years and people still continue to display astounding levels of stupidity.

My dear kutty,
Where ever he falls in the Arabian sea, we will ask Agastya to reclaim that piece of land. We will call it Tamil Nadu.
This way, it is oray kalula rendu maanga. Parasurama rescued people at sea and reclaimed land. However, as agastya reclaims he rescues CC. Kerala would then be surrounded by land on all sides which would mean that their naval force will be rendered useless. In effect, these navy personnel would have to be recommissioned in the army forces (remember, based on some preliminary feasibility studies, you guys had concluded that there was very little land amid the lagoons to lay out a runway for the air-force fighter planes to take off without hitting the coconut trees on the way (and borrowing land from TN is not an option, duh!), so your air-force ideas never took off. Suddenly, you guys find yourself equipped with an army that is fighting among itself about which is the more superior among the defense forces. So if it comes to TN being the aggressor, waging war will not be an option. The reasons being, the road hartals prevent free army tank traffic, protests from soft porn stars against such an operation (for how will they show their faces (um?) in kollywood again?) and the NRI’s don’t care.
So, before issuing such highly scary ultimatums against my rathathin ratham, please consider the above.

Chandrachoodan Pandey would me he is from UP. If literacy is so high at your place, why do you make such spelling errors? Go back to school, for more than one reason.
