Selective Amnesia There was a point to this. But I forgot.

Names for n00b blogs.

  • The fourth wall, broken.

  • W.I.P

  • Descended from Gutenberg

  • Lascaux

Why am I doing this? Because he raised the issue ages ago. About time some one addressed it.

  1. Lascaux, Gutenberg – so much of European hangover? I’ll try to come up with something on the same lines. How about “Last man from Luxembourg?”

  2. Um, can’t help it Krishnan.
You got the reference, didn’t you? And the reason why I chose those names?

  3. Well; I got the reason behind Lascaux, but not behind Gutenberg. I thought of Gutenberg, the town, and completely forgot Gutenberg, the man. Aargh; the adverse effects of too much TV. :)

  4. Hmmm

A long time before Selective Amnesia, I had a kind-of blog called Gutenberg’s Bastard. So, um, I cheated on this list. I didn’t think up four new names. Three, and made Politically Correct a name I already had.

  5. Seriously; Gutenberg’s Bastard sounds way too cool and intriguing than Descended from Gutenberg. You have a way with words, don’t you? :)

  6. Why did you change your blog’s name from Gutenberg’s Bastard to Selective Amnesia? Any special reason? Seriously, that’s one hell of a name. It’s got me intrigued. :)

  7. Because, GB was not the kind of blog SelAm is, and died before SelAm was born. And SelAm is also the blog that I am. GB was a little different, in many ways.
