The new GMail. Features I want, but don’t get.

GMail has been adding a lot of new features, stuff like permalinks for labels/specific mails, colour-coded labels, group chats and stuff. All features I so dig, and want. But funnily, these features are not active/cannot be turned on in my main GMail account – the chandrachoodan one. I wonder why. Is it because this particular email id is old – from the days when GMail only gave you 3 invites to send to friends? Is this the thanks I get for being one of the longest standing users of GMail? For being an early-adopter of technology?

On the other hand, just when my Inbox was reaching 80% capacity (was 2200 MB), GMail more than doubled the inbox size, and now I am at only 35% capacity. (2110 MB - I deleted some old threads and backed up others to my other gmail accounts)

    Hey CC,
tried changing your gmail language from UK to US?

    Oh wow! It works. Thanks.
And, I think this is rather dumb of GMail. Why shouldn’t people in the UK enjoy coloured labels? And group chats?

They test their features with the Englipis of the US and then release it to other Languages, adhu naala dhaan.
