The new India Uncut
It’s not like you need ME to tell you about Amit Varma’s new site. Seeing as how, most people who read me, have already read India Uncut. Yet, here’s some news. I’ve joined his team of Linkastic bloggers, and will be posting upwards of 3 funny/weird/neat links a day. Wish me luck, and if you got a great link that needs some linktastic treatment, send it my way.

Death to the Murungakka
For he brings Tamil Panpaadu shame. Everybody knows Tamils don’t know what sex is, and don’t talk in a public forum about it. But he, a spiteful, irreverent, non-true tamilan even equates sex with economy.
I ask that all my tamil brethren and sistren go to his blog and heap choice abuses on him.
Literature, revivalism, ideology
I am writing a book. It will be the definitive example on neo-modern-post-colonial style of contemporary literature. Ever.

An unbridled criticism of the blogosphere
Is there a point to all the madness, the troll whoring [1], the stupidity, the condescension, the incestuousness[2], the stupidity, the insularity and what not of the blogosphere?
There’s Desicritcs, who, when they aren’t swallowing up legitimate comments, insist on speaking through their multiple hats. And if somebody, however hard wading through that muck is, manages to make a half-decent point, send out emails inviting them to join the DC team. I understand that having a blog entitles one to one’s opinion, no matter how idiotic it is, but when all that shit is piled up in one place – it stinks.
Then there’s Desipundit. Seriously, what’s with them? As much as I dislike admitting it, there was a time I liked the Desipundit. That was when it was still new – less than a month or two old. And then, the rot set in. (Aside: Odgen Nash was a genius.) I know, what’s rot to me is food for maggots. But, damned I will be, if my blog is compared to a festering cesspit. The best of the Indian blogosphere? I am the master of the known universe.
I’d rant on about the others – BlogBharti, Kafila, what the fuck ever. But, what is the point? It’s not like one expects quality from the blogofucksphere, does one?

One more post on Racism
So, things have gone their predictable way. One blogger writes a rather dumb sentence. Hopes to pass it off as tongue in cheek. People call his bluff. And, it gets interesting here, act all judgemental. Out of nowhere, one other blogger (close pals) will write a long, dreary post defending the blogger’s rights, freedom of speech.
Shivam. It’s your turn now to defend your pal Vulturo. Especially since Patrix didn’t do a convincing enough job of it.

A mini puke
When you decide to come live in a different culture, it is you moral duty to blend in and not stick out like a sore thumb.
Anupallavi[1], when you fart, it is your moral duty to fart so others don’t hear you.
