Kurukshetra, 2006

Shekar points me to Kurukshetra, the technical festival of the College of Engineering, Guindy. (For those not in the know, College of Engineering, Guindy is the nucleus around which Anna University is built. The CEG was probably the first technical education institute set up in India. It used to be the Madras School of Survey – if I remember my Muthiah correctly)

Anyway, Kurukshetra is a battle of wits, so says Shekar. For in this event, technically minded students can take part in many events, and plebeians like me can watch from the sidelines. There’s apparently a 9 lakh rupee purse to be won. Dayumn!

Anyway, if you are reading this, (highly unlikely) and are a student of the Anna University or an engineering/technical student and haven’t yet heard of Kurukshetra (even unlikely-er), go here.
