There is a small technical issue here. If Pigs do fly, then the addition of wings and their ‘flapping’ would necessitate a sizable reduction in the meat around the sides and the back. Thus, the amount of meat per pig would decrease. This would actually reduce demand for pork, and that, as always, would bring down the price of pork. (Discouting price fixing after wing fixing)
Anand: Assuming that tastes and preferences remain the same, the reduction in the meat would mean a reduction in supply which would still mean a rise in price. (Or have I got my economics wrong?)
It’d then increase the price of beef and almost other food commodities. Mabbe, then their wings would be clipped when the pigs are young. And normalcy could be attained.
