The ‘ I am guilty as charged’ Open Trackback Weekend
Bernie, over at Planck’s constant pointed out, that though I am a full member of the Open Trackback Alliance, I have failed to keep up my end of the bargain. I haven’t been able to host open trackbacks on my blog.
So, accepting my guilt, here’s my grand Open TrackBack Post.
But first, you say, what the fuck is the Open Trackback? Well, dear Desi Blogospherians, here’s the answer, from the Samantha Burns:
1) What is the Open Trackback Alliance?

Technorati Rank: 9,322,322,443,123 (0 links from 0 sites)The Open Trackback Alliance helps your blog ranking grow by increasing the links between each other’s blogs and showcasing articles on one another’s sites.
You can grow by one of two ways:
a) Become a member of the Open Trackback Alliance; or
b) Participating with Open Trackback Alliance members when they articles which have open trackbacks.
The entire concept is to encourage bloggers to showcase their best recent articles on other blogs which may not otherwise recognize or know about their works.
Open Trackback Alliance members have agreed to create an open article at least once a week, which anyone can create a link to their own blog articles via a mechanism called “pinging”. The link that is created by pinging is called a “trackback”.
The two goals are:
a) Show case your articles on each others blogs to build traffic
b) Create links between each other’s blogs to raise each other’s rankings
Which means, you sign up at Samantha Burns’s site, and become a member and instantly die and go to heaven. No seriously, you make posts, once a week, like this one, in which you link to other OTA member’s posts that you like. In short, it is like our own desi Blog Mela, except this one involves trackbacks and stuff. Also, you need to be funny. Not as funny as Samantha is, but atleast as funny as I.
So, then. Here is what the good folks at OTA are talking about
Samantha Burns: OTA Weekend Trackbacks | Planck’s Constant: The difference between marketing and advertising (Very cool post. Pleasing to the eye and all, as well as sure to get you, well, some state) | Third World Country: Blind in one eye, deaf in the other (this is another Open Post – lots of links) | Stuck on Stupid: Labour Day Weekend Open post (more links. YAY!) | Blue Star Chronicles: Lots of sand | Right Wing Nation: Small Town? Snort! (A well written rant) | Mark My Words: I don’t drink it but… (Some brewery somehwere fudged their ‘are you entirely sure you are entirely legal and above board’ test) | The Florida Masochist: The Knucklehead of the day award (LOL!) | Woman Honor Thyself: The Business Open Trackback Weekend (more links, also some cool quotes about business and stuff) | Planck’s Constant: The Black Dahlia – Scarlett Johansson (some cool pictures of that flavour of the season)
If you are a member of the Open Trackback Alliance, and want to highlight your post this weekend, to trackback this little effort o’ mine. And to the other cool people hosting Open Weekends. And now that you are here, why don’t you stay and read some of my other posts.

Converting to Islam is not enough
Let’s not be liberal idiots, the recent warnings to the West to Convert or Die will not end there. Conversion will not be enough; all the rest of what we take as Western Culture will have to go.

Voice-Activated Liberal Idiots and the French Nati
I leased a new Lexus 350 and had to return to the dealer the next day to complain that I couldn’t figure out how the radio worked.
The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated.

Wow, Scarlett was named sexiest woman by Esquier? She is pretty hot, but I think more in an average way.
