   another north indian journalist writing about a topic he knows nothing about..

   this is not a issue about women vs men…
   this is more about ignorace of our traditions and beliefs ..if look at it this way, there is no end to arguments…why Ayyappa wants 41 days of ‘vrath’ why not 1 days? Why in Kerala temples men are asked to enter bare chested? Why they can’t they allow western dress? Why the temples don’t allow people in shoes? You wear shoes for purposes of hygiene and why should the God object to my wearing of shoes?

   You don’t question certains things when it comes to traditon and belief…In Wimbledon, you’ve to wear to whites to play..you can;t appeal to them saying 1. they’re outdated 2. this is 21st century 3. equality argument 4. libertarian arguments…

   Guess ignorance is the root cause of all trooubles…and when a leading journalist peddles his ignorant stuff it is all the more dangerous…
