Teeza.com

I was down and out, grovelling in the sands. Cursing my writer’s block which kept me from writing the post for today. My thought bubbles had all popped, my Kwic Tailes had turned on me, and my Humour didn’t humour me.
When things looked really bleak, when there was no tunnel and no light, only dark, I turned to my friends of the blogosphere to help me. Sure enough, one long time friend heeded my call.

Suman pointed me to Teeza.com. To use a copywriter’s cliche, Teeza.com is a search engine with a difference. Since I am unable to come up with anything remotely witty or profound to say, and since anything witty and profound is only superflous, I shall let the makers of Teeza describe their venture in their own words

Wisdom of many. Tezaa Project, a non-profit, online community that is driven by polls. Any member can create, modify and participate in a poll. It aggregates public perception and opinions allowing everyone to benefit from information sharing.
How can Tezaa benefit me?

Tezaa can help make better choices by knowing what your peers think.

So there you have it, from the horse’s mouth. (See, I told you I was blocked)
And, according to Suman, this is one of India’s first Web 2.0 sites. So YAY! for a noble idea. Ask Teeza anything, and you might find it. Unfortunately, even Teeza is unable to find God...
Go ahead, search, poll, participate. Teeza definitely is good.

Now, let’s see Teeza, do you have anything for a copywriter struggling for words?

I hope you soon get over your writers block. You couldn’t find God on tezaa not ‘coz god did not exist but actually there was a bug in the way that particular query was handled. Will be fixed today. Thanks for reporting! :)

  4. Selective Amnesia » Tezaa 2.0 Says:

[...] One of the first W2 sites I came across, was Tezaa. In fact, not too long ago, (in the Cosmic sense) I wrote about Tezaa on this blog. Since then, I’ve been in GChat-touch with Shalin Jain, who runs Tezaa, along with a bunch of super cool techies. He told me today that Tezaa’s went through a ‘pull-up-the-pant-tighten-the-screws-add-new-features’ phase recently. And the New Tezaa is ready to take on the world. Here’s what’s new about the all new Tezaa. [...]

  5. Selective Amnesia » Tezaa - over a million opinionated folks. Says:

[...] come across a smart service called Tezaa – a cool website that made sharing opinions easy. I wrote about it back then, after which Shalin, the guy behind Tezaa and I got talking over mail and chat. [...]
