You folks don’t get it, do you?
Sulekha are back at doing what they do best. Step on toes. After the previous spamming blogs episode and the subsequent blog-rage and the subsequenter explanations/apology, I thought the issue had died down.
Perhaps I spoke too soon. For I see two posts in two days that tell me Sulekha has anything but mended their ways.
Chenthil pointed me to Drops of Jupiter who writes about the “parallel blog” Sulekha created for her so she could enjoy twice her readership. How so benevolent and nice of Sulekha. Except, D-o-Jupiter didn’t give them permission to do so. She had expressly denied Sulekha’s offer. But what’s one person’s wish to keep their work their own, when you are building the “best” website on earth, heh?
But that’s not all…when you are out building a popular website that means good writing, you not only plagiarise content, you turn women into men and married folks into singles ready to mingle.
Alpha learns too that she has moved from the US of A to London to accommodate to Sulekha’s kind request. (Thanks Anantha)
Here’s the thing folks – if you are out to build a popular website, get your content straight, original and interesting. Shortcuts like lifting content off popular bloggers don’t work. Plagiarism can only get you so far.

I think Sulekha’s target number for the blogs exceeds the number of Indian blogs and hence they are going all out to create such blogs. Next in line, Boing Boing, instapundit etc would be mirrored on Sulekha.

I am challenged when it comes to coding and stuff. So I find it really funny that while http://alpha.sulekha.com leads to a mirror of Alpha’s blog, http://superstarksa.sulekha.com or http://instapundit.sulekha.com leads to Sulekha’s main page and any link that you click henceforth appears similar to “http://superstarksa.sulekha.com/blogs/blogdisplay.aspx?cid=4574” on your address bar. And for some reason that makes me laugh. Yes, I know I am weird….

They have mirrored Dr. Atanu Dey’s entire blog on deeshaa.org and indianeconomy.org without any permissions. I hope he sues their pants off.

This is Atanudey’s blog. But Atanudey is not posting his blogs in Sulekha. Someone else is using the name of Atanudey to post his blogs in Sulekha. Did you notice that Atanudey never responded back to any of the comments posted in his weblogs ?

When Kiruba was joining Sulekha, at that time itself people warned him on his blog about not leaving a good company like sify to go for this company started by a sleazeball NRI who takes people’s good writings without paying them anything and using it solely for hosting advertisements. But now he has also become like them.

If you ask NRIs about Sulekha they will give you so much bad dope it will hurt. I have been told not to speak about Sulekha because it is a front for the RSS BJP Hindutva movement. You can find lots of Hindutvadis like Rudra MoorNam Rajiv Malhotra Kalavai Venkat on that site. Their they will abuse the muslims and Christians and spread hatred. So Chandra you be careful don’t speak much about Sulekha in public otherwise RSS goon squad might bump you off.
