The Genius of Bhaarathi

Bhaarathiyaar-Dilli
[Thanks Chenthil]

I won’t even attempt to translate this, not only because I am unable to do so. But frankly, the words in English are merely vulgar where the words in tamil are sensual at the least.

I know it sounds immature, for lack of a better word, but perhaps translation is acceptable only when the translator is from the same region and cultural history is the original author. On that note, am planning to translate some of mauni’s work. Should be interesting. (After all, he was existential before Sartre had his first fuck.)
