Mirror Mirror on the wall…
Who’s the best blogger of them all?
Is it a) Kiruba, or b) Amit?
You don’t know two bit?
To know, check out More on Technorati’s Desi Blog Ranking. Deepak has a neat list of blogs, sorted on the basis of their technorati ranking. Possibly one of the better ranking systems, if only somebody built in a way to count trackbacks. I for one think trackbacks are the best judge of a blog/posts’ popularity. Good bloggers inspire others to take up the thread on their own blogs, and carry the conversation forward. Sadly, no directory service yet has a system in place.

I though LazyGeek was the best?! By the way, how does technorati knows if its a desi blog, or does the guy simply takes his blogroll and ranks it?!

@ravages: thanks for the link love
@Gp: If you read my blog, you would know that yes, I did take the links from blogrolls! And not just mine, but couple of other blogrolls too!

Amit writes intelligent stuff almost every day and Kiruba writes total inane rubbish like “I am going on a trip to XYZ” (despite which he has many mindless drones as followers).
Where is the contest?

A fellow blogger:
Depends on what you define as the benchmark/prize.
If it is only number of followers/readers, Both Amit and Kiruba have roughly the same number – with a lean towards Kiruba.
If your benchmark is information/news/reporting, Amit wins. If it is useful information about stuff like ACs and Laptops, Kiruba is the guy to look to. If you need pointers to what’s hot in Indian and other blogospheres, Amit’s the guy to ask.
If it is neither, but just who’s a better person/blogger, things are back to a draw. Amit and I share a few common interests, and so do Kiruba and I. It really is hard to tell you who is the better blogger here.
