Free Mediaah Petition
A few days back, I mentioned Mediaah closing shop on account of harassment from a major media group.
Now, Zigzackly, over at Desi Media Bitch, hopes to arm twist TOI, and get Mediaah back online. And for this, he needs an arm much bigger than TOI’s. And he expects us bloggers to help him in this arm twisting.
So if you folks feel that freedom of expression is important, and freedom of expression is what is being curtailed by TOI, do twist TOI’s arm – oops – sign this online petition. http://www.petitiononline.com/mediaahp/petition.html (BTW – This is a perfectly legal and acceptable form of arm twisting. There I go again. It is a form of expressing your dissent.)

I have not only signed the petition, I have downloaded the copy of the legal notices served on Pradyuman and hope to post it tomorrow., I have checked out the other blog mediaha – and will be writing about that too later.
Let’s see if we can all kick up some dust

Dunno if online petitions have any imppact. May be better to go to mediaha.blogspot.com (before THAT gets shut down!) and have a look at the offending mails and response… and spread the word
