Cholas
For all their conquests, travels, achievements, magnanimity, bigness, and all, the Chola clan have failed to live on.
Even today, there are people named Pandyan or Pandya rajan, (not just the actors) and you even had a Veera Pandya Kattabomman to oppose the British. But the Cholas seem to have died out.
I personally, or otherwise, know of no living Cholan. But I do know of a man named Cheran, and men named Pandyan. Why is it so?

I know quite a few people named Raja Rajan, Rajendran, Vimalathithan etc…

But not a Chozhan. The names might be inspired by Raja Raja CHolan, but his family didn’t live on, did they?

My name is M.Vimaladhithan. Till now I have never heard of any one with my name. I used to think I was the only one to bear the name after the great Raja Rajan’s brother in law. But I know some people who have Chola names. One of my friends have the name Arulmozhivarman, which ofcourse is Raja Raja Chozhan’s other name

My name is Vimalathithan. Still i search about vimalathithan beyound the History. Please, publish VIMALATHITHAN STORY. Everybody known only, vimalathithan is a great Raja Rajan’s brother in law. But didnt know about his BRAVE. Please, help to find out it. VIMALATHITHAN vs ALEXANDER.

the cholas thrived for over 2 centuries … thats a remarkable achievement …
