Why you shouldn’t be reading this…

I’ve absolutely no Idea why I keep writing drivel everyday, and hope more and more people read the stuff I dish out. I mean, are people really so jobless as to read all of my rants?

Now that we have got that away, let’s get down to brass tacks. Why brass tacks? Why not Silver Tacks? Why not Gold even? Why would you want to debase yourself? Why would someone say Brass tacks when he expects people to pay attention to what the person thinks is important?

Who was the first guy (or gal, let’s be good people here) who came up with this? Why, when he wanted to say, “Listen up people, this is the most important thing…” use a metal that has no aspirational and intrinsic value?

That, folks, beats me!
