Herculean task, done.

XHTML Validation is happening. Just a small piece of news to share. Especially for all those techies out there. I went from 250 errors in my HTML to just under 25. And these 25 errors are from a third party script I embedded to display my Photolog on the sidebar.

Re-configuring my blog to load faster (in case you haven’t noticed) and editing categories to make more sense. Like this one for instance.

    Great! Did you rewrite the whole thing by hand or did you use a tool like HTML Tidy?

    All by hand. I didnt use HTML tidy, first because I don’t want to do it that way, 2 because I dont like that piece of software, 3 because I want to know how to do it.

    There are still some issues, for example the script to display my photolog. I need to sit and work on it exclusively, for at-least an hour. Will do so over the weekend.

    thanks for the comment, I feel you should run through a HTML tidy parser. i.e only the code that doesn’t validate. Infohound Tidy does a good job. Maybe you ought to try it out. All the best.
