Human Evolution, explained
< [ { ( )
That, is a short history of human life. We were nothing at all. A lesser animal, if I might use a pun. Walking about on four legs. Crouching, bent.
And then, humans developed a spine. Stood upright. Walked about earth, master of the realm. And then, with growing confidence, and with effective work, we developed muscles and the capacity to exert our influence on this earth. The progression is towards rounding of sharp edges, growing rounder, curvier.
And then the peak. The Ultimate goal, if one might say so. A fully rounded, polished individual. Where obesity is not a sin. But the supreme symbol of maturity and brilliance and virtue.
Man has paid his price. He has slaved, he has built and toiled and fought. He has tilled the soil and won battles. Now, it is time to rest. And devote time to the rounding and polishing of his mental capacity. Physical labour is no more a thing one has to do.
This sedentary lifestyle, where leisure is a prerogative of every individual. The effect of such a lifestyle will have its effect on our bodies. The muscles, accustomed to years aeons of hard labour, will start relaxing, man will grow in size and stature. Till all the sharp edges are curved out. He will grow fat, and round. As he ought to.
A culmination! The point reached. That is just the physical aspect of the growth. Imagine the mental aspects. Man has now conquered all.
He need not exert brain capacity to the problems of survival.
Now, all the effects of our growing science and art can be devoted fully for the purpose of elevating ourselves. No more will the trivial pursuits bother us. The full force of human brain can be turned toward the purpose of man himself.
Such is the world I see. And am glad that I am the way I am. Physically.
